Push-ups Push-ups are included in every single military training regimen. This is because they are very easy to implement but also very effective. Push-ups mainly affect the upper body, namely the chest and shoulders. However, the lower muscle groups – those of the abdomen and thighs – also take part. 5. Burpee The burpee is a combined finesse exercise that leads to faster results and burns a large amount of calories. Metabolism is significantly accelerated.
