Vaginal pimples – how to remove them?

Pimples around the female genitals are common and can be caused by a number of factors. Often the area around them is red and irritated, they cause discomfort, but in most cases they are not a cause for concern. Vaginal pimples are similar to those that can appear on any other part of the body. They are different in size and color. Some are full of pus, others are just reddish, others are smaller and look like a rash. Some people feel a lot of pain, while others don’t. To get rid of annoying pimples, we need to know the main reasons that lead to them and the different ways to treat them. Most often, the skin on the vagina is irritated and breaks out due to: women’s showers; intimate gels; scented soaps and shower gels; medical gels and creams; lubricants, condoms and sprays; sanitary items such as pads and tampons; semen; urine. Folliculitis or inflammation of the hair follicles is one of the main factors that lead to the formation of vaginal pimples. It has a pale or red rash that surrounds the hair follicle. It can subside quickly or drag on, during which the pimple around the hair swells and fills with different contents. Sometimes the exit of the hair follicle on the surface of the skin is more difficult and painful. Ingrown hair – frequent shaving or epilator use, wearing tighter clothes and especially those whose edges irritate the vagina, going to swimming pools and saunas, where there is not enough good hygiene, can cause this inflammation. In most cases, vaginal pimples go away on their own. If it doesn’t, here’s what we can do: Eliminating the cause The most important thing is to find the root cause of the pimples. We can take a good look at the ingredients of the intimate and other cosmetics we use, because it is possible that some of them irritate the skin of the genitals. A razor or shaving foam can also cause an infection. Removing the inflammation If we find the cause of the infection and remove it, the pimples will disappear gradually. For example, if we see that vaginal pimples appear after every shave, we need to find another way to depilate this delicate area. NEWS_MORE_BOX Better hygiene Female genital hygiene is very important. Gynecologists advise to wash these parts of the body at least twice a day – morning and evening, but not with ordinary soap, but with an intimate gel or emulsion. The water should be neither too cold nor too hot. Showering after sex is preferable. No Pimple Squeezing Women love to squeeze their pimples with their fingers. They do it mostly on the face, but this way the bacteria get into the skin much more easily and become infections. The skin on the intimate parts is much more delicate and prone to irritation. Therefore, it is better not to touch the pimples and/or squeeze them, because this will lead to the formation of new ones, not to their disappearance.
