Sex education – important for the teenager!

Teenagers who have sexual health classes at school start having sex later in life, experts say. Students who do not have or do not attend this type of classes start their sex life very early and sometimes without the use of contraceptives. Experts remind that sexual health classes should mention and talk not only about the risk of sexually transmitted diseases or unwanted pregnancy, but also about sexual inclinations and needs. In this way, teenagers will gain a greater understanding of the seriousness of sexual intercourse and that, in addition to pleasure, it can also have health and mental risks. 4,691 women and men between the ages of 15 and 24 took part in a statistical study. 86% of girls and 88% of boys who did not attend sexual health classes started their sex life before the age of 18. Awareness among young people aims to avoid numerous abortions already at the beginning of puberty, as well as the transmission of various diseases through sexual contact. Such an event can leave a lasting psychological trauma in life, experts explain. The inclusion of sexual health classes in the curriculum is extremely important for the further life and conscious path of the teenager, they add.
