Australian scientists are developing Viagra for women who have problems achieving orgasm during sex. Up to 30% of women suffer from anorgasmia. There is currently no approved treatment for the condition, experts say. The new female libido enhancer comes in the form of a nasal spray. The preparation Tefina is testosterone in the form of a gel that is injected into the nose. It is applied two hours before sex, the expected duration of its action is up to 6 hours. Testosterone treatment is believed to help increase sexual desire by activating certain areas of the brain and increasing blood flow to the genitals. Studies show that in women with low sexual interest, testosterone therapy not only improves sexual desire and arousal, but also a woman’s ability to reach orgasm. Such are the expectations for the action of the new product, the scientists specify. The research team states that the use of the preparation does not lead to side effects such as acne, body hair or change in voice timbre.
