A large percentage of women can fake an orgasm during intercourse. But according to Harvard researchers, men do too. Their motivations are similar. In a survey, researchers found that 70% of women fake orgasm and 30% of men. Respondents were asked about their reasons for faking an orgasm. The responses of both sexes are similar. Concern for the partner and his feelings is cited as the main reason. The reason for faking orgasm in men is largely due to the inability to ejaculate. Pretending helps them protect their partner from worry and themselves from hurt pride, experts explain. The inability to ejaculate can be due to stress, anxiety, medication, smoking, alcohol or drug use, and more. However, if the problem worsens, a consultation with a specialist doctor is recommended.
