Men think much more about sex than they do. This is the conclusion reached by scientists from Duke University, USA. The study involved 101 men and 101 women who completed online surveys about sexual health, interest in sex, and frequency of intercourse. The volunteers also indicated how often they thought about sex during the day for 30 days, rating their desire on a scale of 1 to 5. After the 30-day period ended, the volunteers answered survey questions again, but this time based only on the past month. Analyzing the responses of the volunteers, the researchers found that the men tended to remember every single act of intercourse and the moment they thought about sex, thus summarizing the days of the month and appearing to have a regular sex life. After looking at the days separately, however, it turns out that sexual contacts are much less than they think. The results and data of the study were published in the journal Sexual Medicine.
